I got rid of my wire brush 2 years ago after reading about people getting the wire caught in their throats. Burning out hands the last two years using aluminum foil to clean the grill was just terrible. This is the most amazing grill cleaner I've ever used. This brush is amazing. It does a great job cleaning the flat side of the gas grill grate. It does seem to have a bit of trouble completely cleaning the grooved side of the grate. Even our teenage son can get the grill clean. I would recommend to any griller I know.

I have purchased 8 of them and given them to some friends. They are great my only complaint is that the first one lasted about 3 months before the pad tore from the heat. I think I was using it when the grill was to hot. Can you let me know if that is the case. Other than that I think it is a great idea. Is there a way to purchase more pads. Thank you

I didn't have much hope for this brush, actually. My grill has two sides: a flat "griddle" side and a normal side. I wanted one tool that cleaned both sides without potentially leaving behind steel bristles to be eaten in our food.
The first time using this brush was like magic, but based on the brush head design it was subsequent uses that I figured wouldn't work well. But it does! You can clean it in the dishwasher, as advertised, and it just keeps working. It looks charred but after five uses it works just like it did the first use. I'm hoping that it continues this trend for many uses to come.

Love it. Works great, well built and feels like it will last a long time. I would highly recommend wearing a glove while using it as it generates a lot of very hot steam. It would be nice if it had a thick metal scraper built in to it to scrape off the chunks of previously cooked food before using the water sponge.

I was so surprised when I used the sponge the first time. My grill is disgusting and the The Grill Rescue was amazing. I did need to use the wire brush the first time to take off some of the larger pieces but the Grill sponge cleaned 95% of everything.
I would happily recommend the Grill Rescue.
